Saturday 7th, Busy Bees mums hard at work making the Christmas Wreaths as part of their fund raising for next year. 60 wreaths were made and are now being delivered to customers. The Donkey's Tale, A Christmas Musical, click for a bigger picture. Saturday 14th, "The Donkey's Tale", a Christmas Musical performed by Oldbury children at The Old Orchard, Camp Road. Following on from the success of last year's Nativity Musical at the Methodist Chapel and this summer's musical "Yanomamo", the Nativity Musical this year featured a real Donkey called "Ginger" (who is on holiday from Weston-Super-Mare), in a real stable. After the enchanting performance, a collection was held in aid of a children's orphanage in West Bengal, India.

Sunday 22nd, St. Arilda was filled to overflowing for the Christmas Carol Service led by the Revd. Ray Martin. Children performed a representation of the nativity and the older children a tableau about putting Christ back into Christmas. A collection was taken for various charities. Oldbury Deckers get given a new bus, click for a bigger picture. Oldbury Deckers have been given a "new" bus, a 1984 Denise Dominator from First Bus. The first job is to take all the seats out so that the new lay out of game consoles, tuck shop and video lounge can be planned. Club members will help with both the planning and the hands on work.
