Sunday 15th saw the Junior Sunday Club on a walk about in the village. Wrapped up well against the cold, they were looking for and collecting "Signs of Spring". Junior Sunday Club on a walk about, click for a bigger picture.

Play ground working party, click for a bigger picture. On Saturday 21st some hardy volunteers braved the bitter East wind and helped out with the Playing Fields Working Party. Alan, Ian, Lucienne, Mike, Penny, Phil, and Philip mended chains, built gates, raked chippings, painted kitchens and mended doors. A BIG thank you for tuning out in such weather. We hope to have another go fairly soon to mend the rocking bike and the wooden steps under the slide.

The afternoon of the 26th gave us at least 2" of the fluffy white stuff during nearly 4 hours of snow showers. The following morning was beautifully sunny and another ½" had fallen overnight. People were out early to make the most of it before school, just as well as it was pretty well all gone by the afternoon!

On Saturday 28th, Razzle presented Circus Berzercus at the Memorial Hall. Various circus skills were taught in the afternoon; spinning plates, juggling, tight rope walking, and feather balencing. In the evening Circus Berzercus put on a show which displayed all their talents. Who will forget their "Balloon supports woman" feat!
