	On Saturday 6th Oldbury School held their Christmas Fayre. It was a great success and they raised over £900. There were loads of different stalls; 2nd hand toys, Christmas cards and gifts, a raffle, guess the weight of the headmaster as well as the more usual cake, while-you-wait beauty treatments, mulled wine, books, local produce, and of course Father Christmas.
On the evening of Saturday 13th, Oldbury Children's Choir performed "First Night" - a musical for children in the Methodist Chapel. This up to date interpretation of the nativity was enthusicastically performed by the village children's choir. The picture shows the cast in the grand finale.
