P O L L I N G   D A Y

Thursday 10th was polling day for the Euro-elections. Once again the village hall was pressed into action as the village polling station. Karen was tempted to vote whilst out on her horse. I wonder when anyone last went to the polling station on horseback in Oldbury? 		Karen finds a novel way to vote, click for a bigger picture.
It rained on the funrun for the first time in yonks!, click for a bigger picture. The 2004 Oldbury Fun Run was held on Sunday (20th) and it rained for the first time in absolutely ages. The worst of the rain was over by the time the race stated. Runners usually like to cool down after a race, not before!
